In science we have been learning about heat. We listened to a story about a monster called Guzzler who had trouble keeping his hot chocolate warm. We designed and made covers to insulate his cup of hot chocolate using newspaper, bubble wrap, cloth and tinfoil. We recorded the temperature every two minutes using a thermometer to see which material kept the hot drink the warmest. We found that bubble wrap kept the drink the warmest, closely followed by the tinfoil. We then got to drink some of the yummy hot chocolate!
